Johnny Depp has had to take a break from filming the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie after injuring his hand on set.
According to The Wrap, the injury was sustained off-camera and the actor has been flown back to America where he will undergo surgery.
The film is being shot in Australia and scenes without Depp's character Captain Jack Sparrow will continue to be produced in his absence.
A spokesperson for Disney has said that Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will still be released on July 7, 2017.
