It's casting heaven! Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff is the latest addition to the Sharknado 3 cast.
The 62-year-old actor will play the father of Ian Ziering's Fin in the upcoming sequel of the cult movie franchise, which will debut in the USA on Syfy in July.
The movie will reunite Ziering and Tara Reid as they take on another shark attack. Cassie Scerbo - who starred in the first movie as bartender Nova - will also return.
Last summer's premiere of Sharknado 2: The Second One was watched by more than 3.9 million people, an increase of 183% from the first movie.
Syfy UK will premiere Sharknado 3 within 24 hours of its US debut.
