Tom Selleck is reprising his role as detective Jesse Stone in a new TV movie.
The actor first portrayed the popular character in the 2005 film Jesse Stone: Stone Cold, and went on to make seven instalments of the franchise with CBS.
Now, Deadline reports that Selleck will resume the role after a three-year break with a new network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
The ninth movie in the detective series, Jesse Stone: Lost In Paradise, is scheduled to debut in autumn 2015.
Selleck said: "Just about anywhere I go, people come up to me and ask, 'When can I see the next Jesse Stone? Thanks to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, I can happily say it's coming soon."
