Glassland, the award-winning new Irish urban drama from Pilgrim Hill writer-director Gerard Barrett, is released in cinemas on Friday April 17 and screens at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival this month. Watch the new trailer here.
Glassland stars Jack Reynor, Toni Collette, Will Poulter and Michael Smiley and tells the story of a taxi driver (Reynor) on the fringes of the underworld who reaches a crossroads in his life as he tries to save his mother (Collette) from addiction.
Reynor won the World Cinema Special Jury Prize for Acting at the Sundance Film Festival in February for his performance and Glassland was joint winner of Best Irish Feature at last year's Galway Film Fleadh.
It screens at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival on Friday March 27 with director Barrett and Reynor in attendance. For more, visit: www.jdiff.com.
