Music mogul and One Direction boss Simon Cowell has revealed that he's given the band permission to work on solo material as long as they don't split up.
The 55-year-old X Factor judge said that he has no problem with bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, working on their own projects.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Cowell said: ''I hear Harry is going to go solo all the time.
''My advice is they should stay together.
''They can still do things whenever they want. They should stay together.''
