He may be one of Hollywood's most renowned actors but Tom Hanks has said he doesn't give his son Colin acting advice because he has "no secrets to impart to anybody."
Hanks told the New York Daily News when asked about giving his kids - musician Chet, actor Colin and writer Elizabeth – advice, "I don't have any secret knowledge that can help them advance.
"I always say to them, 'Send it to me when you think it's done' and when they think it's done they send it to me. I can only be a fan of what they've created. I've got no secrets to impart to anybody. I wish I did."
