Sky wants more of Baz and Nancy

Sky1 has announced that Baz Ashmawy and his mother Nancy's 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy is to return for a second series later this year, having been sold in over 100 territories around the world. 

Produced by Irish company Brown Bread Films and Burning Bright Productions, 50 Ways... is nominated for a Royal Television Society (RTS) Award in the Popular Factual and Features category.

Sky1 says the new series will see mother and son "take on a fresh set of extraordinary adventures, all designed to open mammy's mind and blow her slippers off". 

Among the destinations will be Germany, Scandinavia, Mexico, Japan and the US, with more family members set to join in the fun. 

Baz Ashmawy said: "After all the amazing things Nancy did last series, I'm as surprised as anyone that she's still alive!

"Trying to kill my mum was the best fun I've ever had and now I'm thrilled to get the chance to try again."

The 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy format is currently in development with Discovery's new US channel Discovery Life, and has also been optioned by numerous broadcasters across Europe.
