Noel Gallagher popped up on the panel of last night's Match of The Day 2 on BBC One and the Man City fan has been getting mixed reactions to his punditry skills.
Gallagher, who releases his new album with High Flying Birds on Friday, appeared on the panel with former players Jermaine Jenas and Mark Lawrenson to analyse Sunday's action.
Football could be his biggest passion after music and slagging off Ed Sheeran, but Noel got a pretty mixed reception from viewers on social media.
Some people thought he should be on every week and others wondered why he had been asked at all.
Among his many pithy insights were coining a new nickname for Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers - 'The Brodge' and calling Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho 'a whinger.'
Really excited about Gareth Gates, Noel Gallagher and Eric Clapton collaborating on a new project together pic.twitter.com/is6SRFwoho
