After six-seasons of toe-tapping chart covers, almighty diva showdowns and buckets of tears, the worldwide TV hit, Glee, has filmed its final episode.
Wanting to share the bittersweet moment with their fans, the cast of the all-singing, all-dancing show took to Twitter and Instagram to show their love for the show, and for each other.
28-year-old Lea Michele, who plays Rachel Berry, posted a snapshot with Matthew Morrison, Darren Chris and Chris Colfer. She captioned the image, "My Boys".
Lea also shared a picture from a ferris wheel ride with 29-year-old Jonathan Groff who portrays her former love interest, Jesse St. James, on the show.
Darren Chris tweeted: "Today is my last day of working on #Glee. Along with the entire cast, crew, and production team. It has been the privilege of a lifetime..."
Earlier this week, 24-year-old Chris Colfer, who plays Kurt Hummel, posted a picture of himself in front of a microphone.
He wrote: 'Recording my last Glee song. Hope I find an excuse to sing after this.'
The final episode will also pay tribute to the late Cory Monteith who starred in the show since its pilot episode in 2009 as Finn Hudson until his tragic passing in 2013.
The two-hour Glee finale is set to air in the US on March 20 at 8 pm - we are still waiting on a date for when we can see it in Ireland.
We were so lucky to have had the most amazing crew who worked so hard everyday to make the show amazing. I'm so grateful for them..
