Not only is Eddie Redmayne tipped to win the Best Actor Oscar for gong his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything, he is also expected to shine in the style stakes!
GQ.com have already dubbed the actor “super dandy” declaring that his look is “exactly what you want to see a young, up-and-coming actor wearing”. It is rumoured that he travels with his own grooming assistant who pays particular attention to that quiff of his.
“From a style perspective, Eddie Redmayne is definitely the most influential man on the red carpet at the moment,” said Damien Paul, head of menswear at designer boutique Matches, reports The Observer.
“He epitomises that quintessential English look in a very modern way, wearing beautiful velvets and dapper dinner suits, by Burberry Prorsum, Prada and Gucci, in an effortlessly youthful manner.”
Other best actor nominees Bradley Cooper (American Sniper), Steve Carell (Foxcatcher), Benedict Cumberbatch (The Imitation Game) and Michael Keaton (Birdman) will also attract attention for their sartorial choices at tonight's Academy Awards ceremony.
