The Hollywood actor secretly wed his girlfriend of 12 years, Connie Angland, last October.
The 59-year-old actor tied the knot with 49-year-old Connie Angland at their home in Los Angeles on October 22.
A statement released to E! News reads: "Billy Bob Thornton and longtime girlfriend Connie Angland were wed on Oct. 22, 2014 at their home in Los Angeles during a private ceremony before family."
The newlyweds, who are often seen together at celebrity events, are parents to their 10-year-old daughter, Bella.
This is the sixth marriage for Thornton who first walked down aisle in 1978 with Melissa Lee Gatlin, but divorced two years later. They share a daughter, Amanda.
Thornton went on to marry Toni Lawrence in 1986, they divorced in 1988. He was married to Cynda Williams between 1990 and1992.
The Bad Santa actor was married to Pietra Dawn Cherniak from 1993 until 1997; the couple have two sons, William and Harry.
He also wed Angelina Jolie in 2000, but their marriage ended in 2003.
Speaking about marriage on Oprah's Master Class in 2014 Thornton said: "Particularly like when you're in a celebrity marriage...I had one of those periods, and during that time I found celebrity to be difficult just because of privacy issues.
"I'm in a good relationship now and have been for 10 years, we have a beautiful daughter."
