When brilliant surgeon Yael Danon is selected to perform a routine operation on the Israeli prime minister it puts her whole family in danger, in the Israeli-made Hostages.
The night before the operation they are taken hostage in their house by masked men and Yael is given an ultimatum - she must kill the prime minister during his operation or her family will die.
The reputedly `gripping' series kicks off with a Saturday night double bill tonight, Februray 21, at 9.00pm.
