Oscar winner Richard Dreyfuss is to play convicted fraudster Bernie Madoff in a new miniseries on US television.
Deadline.com reports that Madoff will be shown on US network ABC and is inspired by ABC News' Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross' work and his book about the disgraced financier, The Madoff Chronicles.
Madoff is serving a 150-year prison sentence in the US.
HBO is also planning a film about him, with Robert De Niro in the lead role.
