Emmerdale star Nicola Wheeler is pregnant with her first child, it has been confirmed.
The actress, who plays the character Nicola King on the soap, has already filmed her exit scenes and is now on maternity leave.
However, soap bosses are remaining tight-lipped over Nicola's exit storyline.
In scenes that will air next week, Nicola King and her husband Jimmy run into problems when Nicola is questioned over kidnapping Priya's baby.
