The BBC has unveiled the first photos of Richard Blackwood in character on the set of Eastenders, have a look here.
The former TV presenter and one-time pop star is making his debut as a villainous character during the soap's 30th anniversary live week.
The name of his character has not yet been released, and soap bosses have not opened up about his upcoming storyline.
Blackwood said of his role: "I'm your best friend and your worst enemy. He has just got layers, villain is just too basic of a word. He's connected to enough people."
