It's Valentine's Day so we've rounded up some of the most romantic scenes in movie history - from Notting Hill to Django Unchained, there's something for everybody.
Spoiler Alert! We should warn you that if you haven't seen some of the films below, the clips may ruin the ending for you.
Notting Hill
Arguably one of the most quoted movie scenes in Hollywood history, this moment between Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts is just perfect.
"I'm just a girl standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her."
Love Actually
Andrew Lincoln's character's love of Keira Knightley's Juliet may not be returned, and while some might argue that he's being a terrible friend proclaiming his love like this for his best friend's wife, it's a beautiful scene all the same - and just think how lovely it would be if someone you actually loved did this for you.
"To me, you are perfect."
10 Things I Hate About You
Nothing says romance like some good old fashioned public humiliation.
"You're just too good to be true, I can't take my eyes off you."
Friends With Benefits
With a title like Friends With Benefits you wouldn't expect one of the most romantic movie scenes to come out of it but the ending when Justin Timberlake surprises Mila Kunis with a flashmob is a major "awh" moment.
"Everything that happens in the day, all I can think to myself is I can't wait to tell Jamie about this."
The Notebook
You could pull out pretty much any scene from The Notebook and it would be up there with the most romantic scenes ever, but this one in particular is amazing.
"It wasn't over, it still isn't over"
Juno
Juno isn't your typical idealistic rom-com love story but there's a realism and awkwardness to it that we just love.
"You're like the coolest person I've ever met, and you don't even have to try"
How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days
One of the best pre-McConaissance rom-coms of Matthew McConaughey's back catalogue without a doubt.
"I meant every word."
Silver Linings Playbook
After some solid fatherly advice from Robert DeNiro, Bradley Cooper does what we've wanted him to do for basically the whole film - forget about his ex-wife and tell Jennifer Lawrence that he loves her.
"I love you. I knew it the minute I met you. I'm sorry it took so long for me to catch up."
Shakespeare in Love
The story behind Romeo and Juliet gets us every time.
"Write me well."
Django Unchained
While Django Unchained isn't a typically romantic movie, you can't argue that Django's love of Broomhilda is powerful and this scene of their reunion is both hilarious and heart-warming.
"Hey little troublemaker."
Bonus:
Begin Again
Adam Levine's show of love for Keira Knightley's character in this scene didn't exactly pay off but the gesture still counts and the song is brilliant so enjoy:
