Former West Wing, Brothers & Sisters and Parks and Recreation star Rob Lowe has joined the cast of Fox pilot The Grinder.
The comedy focuses on television lawyer Dean Sanderson (played by Lowe), who takes over the reins of his family's firm when his long-running series is cancelled.
As well as starring in the show, Lowe will also be executive producer on the project.
Lowe - most recently seen in Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra - will also appear later this year in Sky1's comedy-drama series Apocalypse Slough alongside Jenna Fischer and Pauline Quirke.
