Noel Gallagher has revealed that he turned down the chance to produce the Libertines latest album.
The former Oasis songwriter said that while he would "love to be involved", touring commitments got in the way of them working together.
He told NME: We've exchanged a few emails but unfortunately they want to do it in Thailand.
"With the best will in the world, I'm on tour and I can't do it. I would genuinely love to be involved but they're going to do it in Thailand and I can't be in Thailand."
When asked what advice he would give the band while recording the album, Gallagher replied: "As long as they don't overthink it, they'll be alright."
