Breaking Bad star Betsy Brandt has been cast opposite Colin Hanks in Life in Pieces, the single-camera family comedy pilot for US network CBS.
Deadline.com, which broke the news of Brandt's casting, says the planned series tells the story of one family through its different members.
Brandt plays the eldest sibling, Heather, who is struggling with her three children growing up too quickly; while Hanks plays the youngest sibling, Greg, who is overwhelmed by first-time fatherhood.
