Robert Pattinson has been cast in the upcoming thriller Brimstone.
According to Screen Daily, he joins the previously announced Mia Wasikowska and Guy Pearce in the film from Dutch director Martin Koolhoven.
Carice van Houten, who plays Melisandre on the HBO show Game of Thrones, has also joined the cast of the film, which centres on a heroine on the run from her past and a diabolical preacher.
Pattinson will play an outlaw in the film, which is scheduled to begin shooting in May.
The Twilight star's other upcoming projects include Anton Corbijn's Life, The Lost City of Z and Werner Herzog's Queen of the Desert.
