Home and Away actor Steve Peacocke has just landed a role in an upcoming project starring Tina Fey.
The soap star recently announced that he was quitting his part as Darryl 'Brax' Braxton on the soap after four years.
He will now star in the as-yet-untitled Paramount Pictures film based on Kim Barker's wartime memoir Taliban Shuffle, which recalls her experiences working as a terrorism and international affairs journalist.
Fey will play Barker as she reports from Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, while Peacocke will play her bodyguard Nic, who has a crush on her, Deadline reports.
The Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie, who also appeared in Home and Away, will also have a role in the film.
Peacocke has finished filming his last scenes as Brax on Home and Away, but he will still be seen on screen for most of 2015.
