The Clé club celebrates the 50-year career of musician John Sheahan in Liberty Hall on Wednesday February 18 at 8.pm.

John will be accompanied by Dublin singer Pat Goode, who specialises in comic and satirical verse. The Clé club is an intimate venue for singers and musicians and meets monthly  in the Cois Life bar at Liberty Hall.

Trade unionist and musician Des Geraghty will compere the evening. Geraghty has a long association with Sheahan, going back to the musician's early years with The Dubliners.

John is a noted fiddle-player, tin whistle player and latterly his poetry has attracted much attention as part of his frequent guest spots on TV and radio.
