Straight Outta Compton, the upcoming film based on the rise of NWA, hits cinemas this summer. Check out the first official trailer below (NSFW).
The teaser, which was revealed at last night's 57th Grammy Awards, features an introduction from Dr. Dre and Ice Cube and a cameo from Kendrick Lamar.
According to Universal, the F. Gary Gray-helmed film "tells the astonishing story of how these youngsters revolutionized music and pop culture forever the moment they told the world the truth about life in the hood and ignited a cultural war."
The drama, which is produced by Ice Cube, stars everyone from Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr. as Ice Cube, Eazy E (Jason Mitchell), MC Ren (Aldis Hodge), DJ Yella (Neil Brown Jr.), Dr. Dre (Corey Hawkins) and Snoop Dogg (Lakeith Lee Stanfield).
Straight Outta Compton hits theatres on August 14, 2015.
