Ashlee Simpson has revealed that she's expecting a baby girl with her husband Evan Ross.
The singer said that she wanted to know the sex so she could start making preparations for their new arrival.
She told People: "I like to know - I want to do the nursery."
Simpson, who is already mother to 6-year-old son Bronx Mowgli with ex-husband Pete Wentz, said her son is excited about the latest addition to their family.
She said: "I told him pretty early on. And he wanted to have a sister, so he's really excited! He's got a little brother. Now he's going to have a little sister!"
Simpson and Ross married in August 2014.
