Katy Perry gave a stomping great performance at the Super Bowl and behind all the action was Dubliner Baz Halpin.
Arriving into the stadium on a massive metallic tiger 30-year-old Perry began a roaring set of her greatest hits which numerous costume changes, dancing sharks and Perry transforming herself into a flying firework.
Creative Director Baz Halpin, who hails from Dublin, is the man behind the magic. Halpin has worked with many high-profile stars including Britney Spears, P!nk and Taylor Swift, and while he used to rebuff Katy Perry's out there ideas, it's a different story these days.
Speaking to Billboard magazine Halpin explained: “I used to say, ‘That’s ridiculous, we can never do that.
“Now I just say, ‘You want to fly in on a giant banana and burst into flames? We’ll make it work.”
