Matthew McConaughey is attached to star in the upcoming film Born to Run.
According to Deadline, the Dallas Buyers Club Oscar-winner has been lined up to star in the film, which is based on Christopher McDougall's best-selling book Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Super Athletes and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen.
The book follows an award-winning journalist who travelled to Mexico's Copper Canyons to find out how Tarahumara Indians managed to run for hundreds of miles without rest or injury.
Matthew Michael Carnahan (World War Z) has written the script for the project.
