Sam Smith has said he hopes Beyoncé will beat him to Grammy glory saying if he wins the Album of the Year award he will give it to her instead.
Both Smith and Beyoncé have garnered six nominations each and speaking to Rolling Stone he said he doesn't feel deserving of the prize over the Drunk In Love hitmaker: "She deserves it way more than I do.
"I'd be embarrassed if I got it over her. If I got it, I'd give it to her."
Other nominees for Album of the Year are Ed Sheeran, Beck and Pharrell Williams.
The Grammy Awards take place on February 8.
