Adam Levine has confirmed that he will perform at this year's Academy Awards.
Levine will perform the track Lost Stars from Begin Again, which is nominated for Best Original Song.
The Maroon 5 frontman said, "So...I'll be singing at the #OSCARS!!! Whaaaat??!?!? Thank you @theAcademy! #LostStars"
Levine starred in Begin Again alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo. It was written and directed by Irish director John Carney.
Lost Stars is nominated alongside Everything Is Awesome by Tegan and Sarah feat. The Lonely Island (The Lego Movie), Glory by John Legend and Common (Selma), Grateful by Rita Ora (Beyond The Lights) and I'm Not Gonna Miss You by Glen Campbell (Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me).
The 87th Annual Academy Awards take place in Hollywood on February 22.
