A Mrs Doubtfire musical is in the works, it has been revealed.
Composer Alan Menken told Entertainment Weekly Radio that a musical based on the classic 1993 Robin Williams movie is in the early stages of development.
Menken said: "It's in its early stages, and that's probably all I can say."
He added: "We're really enjoying working on it."
Harvey Fierstein, who starred in the original film as Williams' character's make-up artist brother, will pen the script for the musical.
