Luke Evans has confirmed that he has left The Crow reboot.
The Wrap reports that the actor's publicist announced on Saturday (January 24) that he recently chose to bow out of Relativity Media's planned reboot of the original 1994 movie.
Evans originally joined the cast to play Eric Draven in 2013 when Francisco Javier Gutiérrez was attached to direct. Gutiérrez then exited the project in summer 2014 and Colin Hardy (The Hallow) was brought in to take the helm.
Hardy and the studio are now actively seeking a new star for the long-gestating reboot.
