Joel Edgerton and Jon Bernthal are reportedly being eyed to replace Tom Hardy in the upcoming film Suicide Squad.
According to Cinema Blend Warner Bros. are looking at Exodus: Gods and Kings' Edgerton and Fury's Bernthal to take on the role of Rick Flag in the project following Hardy's departure.
It was originally reported that Jake Gyllenhaal would take the part but that has since been ruled out.
Suicide Squad, which is based on the DC Comic of the same name, is set for release in August 2016 and will star Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Jesse Eisenberg and Cara Delevingne.
