Pharrell Williams is to make a guest appearance in The Simpsons.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the singer will play a version of himself in the show next month, in an episode that will be entitled Walking Big & Tall.
The cartoon Williams will offer to write a new anthem for Springfield, and the plot is apparently based on a true story from the 1980s about a Milwaukee TV station that hired a composer to write a city-pride song.
Famous guest appearances are, of course, nothing new on The Simpsons and Girls actress Lena Dunham will also make an appearance on the show later this year.
