Irish actors Hugh O'Conor (The Stag), Lalor Roddy (Hunger) and Patrick Fitzsymons (Game Of Thrones) will star opposite Sean Bean in ITV's new crime-drama The Frankenstein Chronicles.
Deadline.com reports that the six-part series re-imagines the Frankenstein story and mixes the horror and procedural genres.
Bean plays Inspector John Marlott in the series, with shooting set to begin in Northern Ireland next Monday, January 26.
The Frankenstein Chronicles will be shown on ITV's subscription channel, ITV Encore.
