Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Fair City stars were amongst those involved in Operation Transformation nationwide walks over the weekend.
The Taoiseach attended the walk in Castlebar, alongside Mayo gaelic football star Aidan O'Hara.
There was a huge turn out all over the country to support the five leaders, Alan Mullen, Veronica Horgan, Eilish Kavanagh, Louise Ormsby and Mark McArdle.
Famous faces in attendance included John Duggan (Garda Maguire) and Jenny Dixon (Kerri-Ann) from Fair City with Op Trans presenter Kathryn Thomas at the walk in Dublin's Palmerstown.
RTÉ's Operation Transformation teamed up with the Irish Sports Council again this year to organise a number of special Operation Transformation National Walks in locations all around Ireland.
Karl Henry, fitness expert for the series said: "I am a huge fan of walking to get results. It's free, accessible and it works.
"The Operation Transformation National Walk is a great way to get out and get active and we’re so glad that so many people showed up in their droves.
"We hope we’ll see everyone out again for Family Cycle Day on Saturday February 7th and the OT 5k run in the Phoenix Park and Blarney Castle on Saturday February 21st - make this your year!"
