Arnold Schwarzenegger was among the celebrities who tweeted their congratulations to Irish MMA star Conor McGregor after his victory over Denis Silver in Boston in the early hours of this morning.
Arnie, who has three million followers on Twitter, wrote, "Congrats to the McGregor-nator @TheNotoriousMMA on terminating another opponent. Can't wait for your world championship fight. I'll be there."
Rugby players Jamie Heaslip and Peter Stringer also congratulated McGregor, who now moves closer to a showdown in the ring with Brazilian Jose Aldo for the world MMA title.
