Henry Cavill has said he hopes to play Superman for "many, many years to come".
The 31-year-old star, who is set to reprise his Superman role for the highly anticipated Ben Affleck-starring, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, told The Anglophile Channel, "I love the character.
"I love working with Warner Bros. and what they're doing with it, and so fingers crossed I'll be able to tell the story for many, many years to come."
Cavill added that he's looking forward to seeing the final cut of the film, "Its Zach Snyder so it's going to be a visual spectacle, and its cinematic history. Fingers crossed it turns out to be as exciting as I think it is."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is slated for release in March 2016.
