Clean Bandit have admitted that they want to get some new music released "as soon as possible".

The group has started to record the follow-up to their 2014 debut album New Eyes, which spawned their monster hit Rather Be.

"We've been in the studio this morning, so we're a bit knackered now," Jack Patterson told Digital Spy at last night's Brit Awards nominations' launch.

"We've got about six or seven new tracks coming together. We just want to get new stuff out there as soon as possible really - we're quite excited."

When asked if they've been working with established or undiscovered talent, Patterson said: "A bit of both really.

"The success of Rather Be has afforded us some more exposure to other artists, which has been really cool. But then we're still meeting new people as well, so it's all good."

Clean Bandit have been nominated for British Group and British Single for Rather Be at the Brit Awards 2015 at London's O2 Arena on February 25. They play Dublin's Academy on March 6.
