Emily Blunt won Best Actress in an Action Movie at the Critics Choice Awards last night for Edge of Tomorrow and jokes that husband John Krasinksi was intimidated by her strength during filming.
Blunt played an action hero in the film alongside Tom Cruise and told the crowd as she thanked her husband, "Finally to my sneaky husband John Krasinski for being OK with the fact that he was married to a veiny, sinewy wrestler for the duration of this film.
"And also for coming up with my favourite line ever which was 'I'm terrified I'm going to wake up one morning and you're benching me.' Which I did, just to kind of freak him out."
Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1), Scarlett Johansson (Lucy), Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Shailene Woodley (Divergent) were also nominated in Blunt's category.
Blunt's co-star Tom Cruise lost out on the Best Actor in an Action Movie to American Sniper's Bradley Cooper. Brad Pitt (Fury), Chris Evans (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) and Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) were also nominated.
