Birdman took home the lion's share of honours at Thursday night's (January 15) Critics' Choice Movie Awards, winning in seven categories.
Birdman star Michael Keaton won Best Actor and Best Actor in a Comedy, while the film also won Best Original Screenplay, Best Score, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Editing and Best Cinematography.
However, Richard Linklater's coming-of-age drama Boyhood took home the Best Picture award, and Best Director also went to Linklater. Boyhood star Patricia Arquette was honoured with the Best Supporting Actress award, and co-star Ellar Coltrane took home the Best Young Actor/Actress award.
Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel was the third biggest winner on the night, receiving a total of three awards for Best Comedy, Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design.
