John Krasinski has reportedly landed the leading role in Michael Bay's upcoming movie 13 Hours.
According to Variety, Krasinksi will play a Navy SEAL in the film centred around the attack on the US Special Mission Compound and a nearby CIA Annex in Benghazi, Libya, on the anniversary of 9/11.
Chuck Hogan has written the script based on Mitchell Zuckoff's book Thirteen Hours: A Firsthand Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi.
Krasinksi, who is best known for his role as Jim Halpert in the US version of The Office, can next be seen alongside Emma Stone and Bradley Cooper in an upcoming Cameron Crowe film which is as-yet untitled.
