Madonna has confirmed that she will make an appearance at next month's Grammy Awards.
The 56-year-old pop icon announced on Instagram that she will attend the annual awards ceremony on February 8.
She confirmed the appearance by unveiling a photo of a Grammy Award, resembling the artwork of her upcoming album Rebel Heart.
But she has yet to confirm whether she will perform or just attend the event, music's equivalent of the Oscars.
Hosted by LL Cool J, the 2015 Grammys will feature performances from Ariana Grande, Big Sean, Sam Smith, Maroon 5, Pharrell Williams and Mary J Blige.
Madonna was recently criticised for using photoshopped images of Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela and Bob Marley to promote her new album.
She also used similar images featuring John Lennon and Christ the Redeemer but she has denied that she was comparing herself with the iconic figures.
