Coming-of-age drama Boyhood was the big winner at the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on Sunday night, winning Best Picture, Best Director (Richard Linklater) and Best Supporting Actress (Patricia Arquette).
Eddie Redmayne won Best Actor (Drama) for his portrayal of astrophysicist Stephen Hawking in the biopic The Theory of Everything, while Julianne Moore won Best Actress for her performance in Alzheimer's drama Still Alice.
Michael Keaton won Best Actor (Comedy or Musical) for Birdman, with Amy Adams winning Best Actress (Comedy or Musical) for Big Eyes.
The Grand Budapest Hotel was named Best Film (Comedy or Musical), with Leviathan winning Best Foreign Film and How to Train Your Dragon 2 winning Best Animated Film.
Best Screenplay went to Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu, Nicolás Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris and Armando Bo for Birdman.
Alexandre Desplat won Best Original Score for The Imitation Game and John Legend and Common shared Best Original song for Glory from Selma.
George Clooney was honoured with the Cecil B DeMille Award for lifetime achievement.
The Golden Globes Red Carpet Special airs on RTÉ2 on Monday January 12 at 8:10pm and is followed by the awards ceremony at 9:00pm.
