In what will be his first TV role since 1979, John Travolta will play OJ Simpson's defence lawyer in a new made for TV movie, which also stars Cuba Gooding Jr as Simpson, and Friends star David Schwimmer.
The 60-year-old Pulp Fiction star will appear in American Crime Story: The People v. OJ Simpson, a ten-part series about the infamous double murder trial of the former American football star.
Travolta plays lawyer Robert Kardashian, the father of reality stars Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian and a friend of Simpson.
The OJ Simpson trial took place between November 1994 and October 1995. The former NFL player and actor, now 67, was accused of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Simpson and waiter Ronald Goldman.
American Crime Story is expected to air on FX later this year.
