Chris Evans has become a grandfather for the first time.
The former TFI Friday host and current BBC Radio 2 DJ's daughter Jade gave birth to a baby boy on Friday morning (January 9).
The 48-year-old broadcaster announced the news during his breakfast show this morning, and later tweeted a picture of his grandson, who is being named Teddy Rupert.
Jade is Evans's only child with his former fiancée Alison Ward. He also has two sons, Noah and Eli, with his current wife, Natasha Shishmanian.
Announcing his daughter's pregnancy last year, he told listeners: "Over the weekend, while I was on my sick bed my daughter rang to tell me I was going to be a granddad.
"This now puts me staring straight down the barrel of becoming a granddad at the age of just 48. Noah is going to become an uncle as well as little Eli, who is just two, and Tash is going to be a grandma."
