Michael Keaton is set to join the cast of the King Kong prequel, Kong: Skull Island.
The Birdman star is finalizing a deal to join already-cast Tom Hiddleston and JK Simmons, according to Deadline.
Jordan Vogt-Roberts will direct from a script by John Gatins and Max Borenstein.
The story will follow a team of explorers who venture deep inside the treacherous and mysterious island where the king of the apes lives.
Kong: Skull Island is scheduled for release in March 2017.
