Brad Pitt showed his funny side at the Palm Springs International Film Festival at the weekend.
The Fury star was in attendance to present British actor David Oyelowo with the Breakthrough Performance award for his starring role as Dr Martin Luther King Jr in Selma.
Pitt gave the audience a lecture in saying the often-mispronounced actor's surname, saying: “I know there is one lingering question at the back of your minds. It’s a fundamental question and I think it’s only fair that we air it out tonight and that question is, how the hell do you pronounce his name?
“I’ve been there and I’m here to help. My job tonight is to help you."
The actor then led the audience in a singalong to help them pronounce Oyelowo's name correctly.
