Josh Gad is in line to play film critic Roger Ebert in the upcoming indie drama Russ & Roger Go Beyond.
Producer David Permut told Hollywood Elsewhere that the Frozen star is being pegged to play the late critic.
The script from Saturday Night Live's Christopher Cluess follows the relationship between Ebert and filmmaker Russ Meyer and the creation of their film Beyond the Valley of the Dolls in 1970.
Will Ferrell is expected to star as Meyer in the project.
