Oscar-nominated star Anna Kendrick is very proud of her Irish roots saying her dad in particular is very "into being Irish."
The 29-year-old star was born in Portland, Maine in the United States and is of Irish, Scottish and English descent so when TEN sat down with her for a chat about her new film Into The Woods we had to ask about her Irish connection.
While the star refused to give the Irish accent a go – a wise move we're sure – she got very excited when talking about her dad's love of his Irish roots, "My dad is very Irish, he's very into being Irish. He's not from Ireland but he's 100% Irish and very into being Irish and loving Martin McDonagh."
Into The Woods hits cinemas on January 9.
