Former TV host Jay Leno has revealed he was often bored by some of the reality stars that featured on his talk show.
In an interview with Craig Ferguson, 64-year-old Leno insisted that any awkward gaps on his NBC talkshow were down to his guests from "stupid reality shows".
He said: "No, it was the people on the show! The classic example is I had one of these reality stars on... Trista! From one of these Bachelorettes... So, I'm sitting and I'm looking at the side of her head. I couldn't be less interested. I've never seen this stupid reality show - you know what it was."
He went on to explain that he had an awkward encounter after the show where he failed to recognise his interviewee.
Leno added: "She goes, 'Hey, can I have a picture?' And I go, 'Sure, what's your name?'"
