The first trailer for Jonah Hill and James Franco's thriller True Story has premiered online – see it here.
The film follows the true story of journalist Michael Finkel (Hill) who begins writing the life story of suspected murderer Christian Longo (Franco) but friends of Finkel begin to worry that Longo is using him as part of a bigger plan.
Felicty Jones, Ethan Suplee and Gretchen Mol also star.
The film, which is based on Finkel's memoir, is being directed by Rupert Goold and produced by Brad Pitt.
True Story will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January.
